As a team me Zaynah and James, we all clarified the game idea. We sat in the AUT library and came up with all the final ideas we wanted to conceptualize for our game. We had already come up with our hero who is going to journey outside his room at night to run away in hopes of finding help and overcome his fear of the world, and get a new perspective of the world to hep promote a healthy relationship and to never be afraid of help. But to do this we need a world to conceptualized but we had a rough idea of what we wanted. But in that group meeting we determined we want three distinctive areas. We wanted a suburban home area with a playground area. We wanted a city rooftop area, and a forest. This was because these were three ways we though of visually would be able to break down the complex structure of Auckland and would allow us to create other ideas with in the world, like the idea of balancing nature and city. As well some of our research which I found, like Nigel Latta's show on domestic violence had found that poverty and societal breakdown had implications into domestic violence, so from that we found that it would be a good idea not to say this but to express this through how we build our world. An example of what I had thought of for this idea was to have an abandon factory which would correlate to the suburbs being trashed.

Then the last thing we wanted to figure out was a name, so we decided on Outside, because it really all about this player's journey Outside in which they will empaphies and relate to the environment to raise awareness to these problems while allowing them to understand a positive outcome when we are in tough situation of when we face violence.
