A Knight's Journey Short Story

The world is a medieval fantasy world in which it is dominated by wealth and honor. Men are perceived as strong and are the only ones who can be knights. But one little young girl has a dream to become a knight but this is not socially acceptable, women are objects of beauty. They wear dresses makeup but this isn't the person this girl wants to be she wants to fight like men and she wants to be equal.  

 

 

The Heroin is a young strong female character. She is shorter than most people and very small but this means she is easily underestimated. She represents the opposite of the norm in her world.

 

Her weakness is her size she is smaller and even though she is capable of skills that boys her age fail at that determine what makes a man she is seen as a troublesome girl who doesn't know her place.

Her strength is her speed. She is faster than most others which gives her the edge and different perspective to reach and places the bigger knights and enemies cant get to.

 

Her father is not royalty but he is a knight of honor who earned the right to be a knight he supports his daughter's belief of being able to fight but must protect her and make sure she has a future with a family so he treats her like a princess but is proud of her ability to be different but fears for her courage.

Her father is killed by some highborn knight had to kill her father to claim himself lord of the land.

This is the turning point for the heroin in which she witnesses the death and find her dad, in which he had prepared her a set of armour that he was going to use to prepare her to be a knight to fulfill her dream.

And now it spirals into a vengeance story to kill her father's murder but at the same time she is on a path and the play to learn the understanding of what honor of a true knight is, which will take you down the path of having the choice to show mercy and defend the innocent. This will be shown through messages from her father along her path that teach her how to be a knight.
